What is Penguin Update

Hi,

I was read in the internet, google was updated his new update thats "Penguin Update"

What is that i don't understand.

Can you please explain me.

 

Google has updated his Algorithm and this update is known as Penguin Update that means Google will rank every every website again depending upon the Quality of the website, Over Optimization site or Over SEO sites are going to be banned by Google, so the ranking of many keywords may fall down.

 

"The Penguin Update launched on April 24. It was a change to Google’s search results that was designed to punish pages that have been spamming Google. If you’re not familiar with spam, it’s when people do things like “keyword stuffing” or “cloaking” that violate Google’s guidelines." - From searchengineland dot com

 

Penguin update is the latest update for the ranking algorithm which became effective from April 24th. It is meant to keep vigil on spam and unethical ranking techniques.

 

It is the last update of Google Algorithm. It's a quality update.

 

Then what is the difference between Google Panda and Google Penguin update??

But anyways,
Penguin Update is another update on Google’s Search Engine Rankings algorithm. Previously it was Panda and now Google named it Penguin. The main purpose of the Penguin update is to put a deep freeze on web spam in Google’s search results.

Yeah. Google's update called panguin is directed to reduce spamming sites to present search results. So many keywords drops for unethical seo sites.

 

Google has recently released its Google Penguin also known as Web Spam Google Algorithm Update.It was launched on April 24, 2012. Google has clearly said that this algorithm change is to filter out those websites which is overly optimized.

 

I think the penguine update removes the duplicate contents , If any one about it plz share over here
