If you're low on budget and you still want to use adwords, then try to buy coupons that are very cheap these days. I'm also hunting for that since I like adwords. But you should be careful since there are sellers that offers used coupons which will never work on your account.
Well personally I would not spend my only money on Google adwords campaigns simply because it will take a good amount of funds to get over the testing portion and before you actually optimize you campaign to make money and maximize ROI. You usually do not get an ROI early with Adwords, at least in my experience.
We receive more than 60% of our website traffic through Adwords clicks. Social media is by far the second on the list of generated clicks on our website. However, we spend nearly $600 on adwords a month. If you spend they will click.
I think social marketing is crap, everyone is trying to do the same, there's so much competence. In addition to that, conversions are very low, and a lot of time would have to be invested in order to get a decent amount of visits. kingofcarts, how many visits do you receive from social media? I'd bet no more than a thousand a month??? I think PPC is the best, IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT.
Google adword is the best way to generate traffic to your website. It is a PPC advertising campaign which is provided by Google. In PPC the main benefit is you can set your own budget. You can generate quality content for your website.

I have a website that within 3 hours of going live it hit Google 1st page and sits at # 7 or 8, it has maintained that position ever since its now 5 weeks old and getting a few unique's too, problem I have is that okay its getting a steady build up of traffic considering its new but not one ad click :~( any suggestions?
Forums are always a good way of getting quality visitors to your site. If you post on some contextually relevant forums then generally your Click through rate will be higher than if you get random traffic.
Thanks for that info, but most forums from what I have read don't allow you to post links to sites! I will try anyway
You Should try low CPC Keywords for your campaign and add broad modified keywords, negative keywords of your campaign then you can get high traffic with low budget.
If you've ever visited a forum, you know that they are an excellent source of information that you can often not find anywhere else. Some also receive a very high amount of traffic and are a huge opportunity for whatever niche your site may fall into. By making an effective signature link for each your posts, you can see an increase in traffic. This traffic is often highly targeted.
I will suggest you to make one video & then promote that video as google is giving more importance to video or you can increase your traffic with manual back link posting.
I used an adwords voucher i recently got through the post. I noticed that many people clicked the advert but not many transactions happened. I think my landing page is quite good...its an ecommerce site. Is there any primary reasons for low conversions?
