I need his personal opinion...lol So... as most of you may know, I own this forum: http://www.hiphopside.com/forum.php The question is, how do you convert visitors in members, the site gets over 1000 uniques a day but hardly anyone signs up, do you guys know any method I can use to get more people to sign up? Like how this site has a black box pops up and inspire you to sign up? lol
You could also make it where they can't see links unless they site up, I believe they also have plugins you can use they will say "You are not a member! Sign up so you can see everything" Or something like that.
It is also called an overlay. It is a box that pops in the center of the screen and darkens the background. Just google Lightbox or overlay plugin.

Interesting post. However, it would of been a smarter idea to provide other advice rather than just the forum information. That way you could really help the thread creator.
Yeah, I think a lightbox would be the best. Or maybe make it easier to sign up? A Facebook login button?
