Any more opinions on this, intrigued to hear what people think. How does the quality, cost and volume of traffic vary between the two sources?
Doesn't hurt to sign up to them both and test them out with the free codes they both offer. Just be sure to run a side by side test of your campaign so you get the correct results.
What I like about Adcenter is that it let you run a kinda teaser-like/shoking ads that may significantly improve CTR, while Adwords will ban you for a silent fart
Read Why You Should Advertise On Microsoft adCenter And Not On Google AdWords... and then decide yourself..
First of all adcenter has MUCH better customer service than adwords. Secondly, adwords will ban you in a heartbeat for almost ANYTHING. But right now adwords is still slightly better for overall conversions. That said, i still have gotten sales from adcenter, just not as much as adwords.
I have used both extensively for my carpet cleaning company and Adwords out performs for us almost always.
Adcenter is a hell of a lot cheaper. Don't listen to the bad clicks and whatnot. If you create your landing pages correctly with tracking code, you should be able to tell for yourself if something is a fraudulent click (like it comes from a country that is outside your advertising region). Anyway, good luck!
