I am currently creating a list of very good SEO related sites and was wondering if people here could share their favorite sites with me. I would like to know about good sites about SEO, Internet Marketing, Webmaster tools, etc (any site you think is important to a Webmaster)… You can post sites, forums, blogs, anything you like as long as it is of very good quality.
Anyone who has known me for a short period of time knows that I think very highly of Seobook.com and Seomoz.com. Put them on the first few sites you list. Digital point also gots some good tools but for beginner seo I wouldn't recommend using DP forums because there is alot of mythological foolishness floating around. I also recommend my site: www.1stsearchenginerankings.com of course.
Thanks for showing me those sites. I’m still looking for more does anyone have any other good sites.
Thanks abac401 I forgot to mention that webmaster tool sites are also welcome. Any site that proves useful to a webmaster is welcome.
Some of the good SEO Blogs... http://www.seomoz.org/blog.php http://www.seobook.com/ http://www.jimwestergren.com/ http://www.seroundtable.com http://www.seobythesea.com/ http://www.seo-scoop.com/ http://www.stuntdubl.com/ http://www.seobuzzbox.com/ http://www.jimboykin.com/ http://www.seobythesea.com/ http://www.pronetadvertising.com And if you want then can also list my blog (See Recent Blog). I have just launched it, so it will take time to do some detailed posting in it. It is about SEO Books information.
Thank you for those excellent links. That’s exactly what I was looking for. Does anyone have anymore sites I should know about?
I would like to thank everyone that helped me out, if you want to know what it was for check my new site. Please conceder giving a Digg if you like it.
Is there a way to export my Google Reader feeds, so he can see them? Since most of us use feeds we can make a complete list with input from all DP members.
I know of a few site http://www.AdamFletcher.co.uk http://www.forum.AdamFletcher.co.uk http://www.guides.AdamFletcher.co.uk http://www.tools.AdamFletcher.co.uk Hope they help you a lot Adam
To be truly honest I never actually thought about it despite being a very good idea. I’ll see what I can do.
Just make sure what you read is accurate. For some people this is kind of hard to tell. Now I don't consider Aaron Wall or randfish to be perfect and to know everything but if you are knew and find a conflicting article read what seobook or semoz has to say about it. I would go with that. They have experiance and a reputation to prove it. They know what they are doing. Other sites bring good points along and I don't want to crush that just make sure they aren't going wild with ideas like PR is everything or articles on raising PR or how to conquer the search engines with a revultionized meta tag code. you probably get it so I will shut up
I’ve added more sites, thanks for posting them here. If anyone has more sites please let me know. Well what I’m currently doing is adding all the top blogs about SEO that I can find. I can’t control SERPs only the sites that get display so what I’ve done is look for the most prestigious ones and include them on my Database. That’s why I’ve asked people to give me a list of sites they conceder important rather than just adding the ones I wanted.
I know a lot of users were complaining about the color scheme so I decided to change it. What do you guys think?
Oh now that is rich... thanks for comming out.. ADDED; HOLY Crap... forgot to at least link drop.. -- Just follow the Trail of the Fire Horse
I keep lists of Article submission, directories, and press release sites at Top Web Site Tips That you might find useful.
