Google's New Update on Webspam.

    I have a baby coupons website. Last week it was on page 1 when you type in ...baby coupons.
    Within each article that is posted on my website,I had an affiliate text link so people could click on to signup for baby coupons.
    After the google update my site is no longer on page 1. It is no where with the first 10 pages.

    My question is this.....

    Is google penalizing websites that have affilaite text links within articles?


    I just went to my website and have removed all of the affiliate text links with the articles. I am now just relying on actual banner ads on the right side of the home page.

    Instead of removing your affiliate links - make sure you "no follow" them. Also, until everything settles down in a week or so, try not to make changes to your site.

    do not remove the affiliate links or make any changes just wait for a week or two and watch whats going in actually. And make some backlinks for the website that may help.

    You shouldn't remove the affiliate links buddy, just as @valkerie said, you should 'no follow them' and wait for what will happen.
