Another idea, maybe you have built too much crappy backlinks. A lot of sites were hit in the last time. Maybe worth a read for you. http://www.webmasterworld.com/google/4435785.htm
There's only a slight difference. You have all these texts like "Buy and sell new or used Mustang Roush and Mustang Roush classifieds." I know nothing about these cars (so the following text is inaccurate, but hopefully you get the idea), but why not write something like: "Great car from the '80s, made for a limited period of time, your chance to own a piece of automotive history."
] i hear what you are saying but check out the new #1 site and see how many times they say 'mustang' - way more than our site.. http://mustangclassifieds.com/
The site doesn't look as nice as yours (except for your ugly red bar ), but it's repetition of phrases is a bit less. It's not just the word Mustang, but also buy and sell. But I see you're making changes with regards to this. Keep it up. Just to add - you want it to all have a good flow, feel natural for human visitors. Get some friends and family to look at it as well. Above your categories, you could always have "We have a wide range of Mustang models listed to buy, you can find the ones for sale below or place an ad if you're wanting to sell one." Worded a bit better and with a link to where you can place an ad.
Good luck, mate. When making any changes, it's never possible to predict 100% what will happen. Once you find what works, it's then time to stop tweaking on-page and get the benefits. Just looking at your site now, there is added on-page value, at least for the human visitor. Interesting information about the cars. Maybe trying making the '12 active ads' clickable (links) as well. As a visitor, I tried clicking. Maybe others will too. ;-)
think i've got it now.. made that clickable - good idea.. and restructured text quite a bit on the site.. changed meta tags a bit.. sure hope i didn't do too much.. but i think they all made sense any idea how quickly google picks up on changes?? i would think rather quickly..
Hi mate, You can always submit your home page in Google Webmaster Tools, although I guess GoogleBot visits your page a few times per day at least (you were last cached a few hours ago). I would expect further changes (due to G's update) over the next few days and then for everything to finally settle down. Hopefully you'll be in a good position.
yeah the sites already in my webmaster tools.. thanks for all you help again.. one more thing is that this site has a blog attached to it with autoposting.. any chance that degrades it all??
By autoposting I'm assuming it's an auto-blogger and not scheduled posts you mean. It won't help and might hurt. Why not make a quality blog. Manually add photos, videos, write up something. Doesn't have to be long posts. Like 300 words even, if possible, for example. Still, you don't need to hit exactly that. Get people engaged in commenting, by also commenting on other blogs related to cars, particularly Mustangs (ideally fans, rather than other seller sites). Build up a good blog and do guest posts on other blogs relevant to Mustangs and classic cars. Good luck, mate. I think you have a good site and selected a decent niche, can do well. EDIT: One final thing to add about your blog, make it look like the rest of your site. And check the top post, as some error occurred.
you have to work now on SEO one more time for SEO just work only on Offpage optimazation then you will come once agan at 1st number.
