    Hey guys

How many times does someone have to click on adsense and in what time frame before google classes it as a click fraud and bans your account? Any ideas?

Only Google knows that. I wouldn't recommend testing it :)

click it by accident 1, 2, 3 times.. thats ok
click it once on purpose, and kiss it goodbye.

How they determine it?!?! ask Matt :D

When the alarm beep multiple times, Google will review your site and you know what happens then... ;)

IMHO, one click is enough to kick you out.
try reporting google if you clicked your own ads accidentally.

"I wish they had something that blocked your ip adress clicks. I have accidentaly clicked a couple times." Only problem is alot of people aren't on static I.P.'s so this wouldn't work.

I suppose it depends upon the number of clicks you actually receive which are purposeful and genuine. Surely the odd click from yourself would be buried in a mass of hundreds? I think Google looks for patterns in determining click fraud. Maybe 1 mistaken click per every few months would be forgiven but as for a few in the same week, I mean, it's looking like compulsion:)

If you're really curious wha'ts on the other side of those links, extract the url from the bottom of the ad, type it into the address bar.

Or get your friend on the othe rside of the country to click it.

i clicked my ad by mistake once, so i emailed google, fearing well you know adsense has the tendency to "ban now, talk later policy". they replied

Thanks for letting us know about the accidental click on your ads. We appreciate your honesty and your continued efforts toward avoiding such
    clicks going forward.

haha, publisher live everyday in fear of being ban for no reason ... thats why i'm applying to YPN as backup. i tried adbrite, nah not as good as adsense

so try not to click ur ads if you cherish it :)

    cheers

You need not click /view your websites at all, if you are not earning $xxxx per month, google can consider that invalid click is generated at their own whims,if you are getting more clicks from the city you are living in, etc.

One can missuse this thing for terminating other's adsense.

Sorry brother i'm not being offended but this type of ques. is not good for the people around here.

But if we see it from the other point of view means ferom the positive aspect then Google can catch you up in 2-3 clicks too not a day but just once.
