Hey everyone, I've been around the affiliate marketing game for several years now, and I know what it's like to just get started trying to make my first few $$ online and how many roadblocks I ran into. Then it was trying to keep that income CONSISTENT, instead of only once in awhile sales! I've had tons of mistakes under my belt, and I always like to help other beginners out there to overcome some of the challenges that they're facing. Feel free to ask any questions here about affiliate marketing, and I'll do my best to give you some good advice I'm sure there are plenty of experts around here that could chime in too
I've also been doing this for quite a while. The biggest challenge for most affiliate marketers (new and old) is staying ahead of the search engines -- especially Google. One minute you can be pulling in huge amounts of income -- then the next minute you're just barely scraping by. The key is, keep working hard and applying / testing new techniques...
The biggest challenge is to keep your webmasters interested - there are so many affiliate programs out there - It is just hard to keep them interested - all they need is good conversion.
Generating as much free , quality traffic as you can is the hardest part. No matter how good a product you have it comes down to getting quality visitors to see your offering.
I side with this opinion. Traffic seems to be getting harder and harder to manage and create for me these days, but I still manage to make a couple gs by the end of the months. I can remember it used to be way easier though maybe I am getting old Anybody have tips to generate QUICK SEO?
Hi, I am new here, but not new to affiliate marketing. My biggest challenge is keeping up with monitizing over 100 websites.
I am new to affiliate marketing and want to know if I should make individual review sites for individual products or make a single website with tonnes of pages with different affiliate products listed just like a general shopping site.
Hey guys, sorry I forgot to sub to my own thread didn't notice there were any replies. derp. I started marketing online about 5 years ago, and have been able to earn a full-time income for about the past two years. I'm by no means a guru (but who really likes gurus anyways ), but I try to help out when I can. I'll tell you that the BIGGEST challenge I had to overcome was keeping myself focused on ONE project until it was profitable before I jumped to something else. I kept chasing new methods and IM products, and would focus on that just long enough for the next "hook" to come out and grab me. I could've saved myself literally YEARS if I would've just chosen a niche or hot product, and promoted the shit out of it until I was making at least a couple grand a month. You have to realize that nearly ANY niche or product you choose has more than enough opportunity there for ANYONE to jump in and make a couple thousand a month. If you're just starting out, or you need some direction, I'd start by choosing one single product that is in a "pain market" like, lets say, "Natural Vision Correction" or "last longer in bed" or "natural cure for diabetes", etc... There are many great products to address these problems for people, Clickbank is one place to start looking. Just so you know, a "pain market" is a group of people who are looking for a solution to a problem that is very painful to them in some way. Curing bad eyesight or diabetes naturally solves a very big problem for many people, and they are willing to spend good money on a solution. Once you've decided on a product that you know has a large hungry market, then you just promote the hell out of it using all the methods you can find throughout any marketing forum... - Start a review blog and compare 3-4 similar products - Write articles or have them written - submit them to Web 2.0 sites and/or your blog - Take those articles and convert them to PDF then upload them to document sharing sites like Scribd, DocStoc, etc. Be sure to add a link to your blog (or any other pages you want to SEO) before converting. These sites get mad amounts of traffic, plus Google crawls and indexes the contents of your PDFs and you'll get some sweet link-juice to your money pages, which will help them rank organically - Build a Squidoo - Create helpful videos and submit to Youtube - Drive free traffic to your videos through Youtube commenting - Forum Marketing - Yahoo Answers - If you have budget for advertising, do some PPC or banner ads to drive targeted traffic - And any other marketing methods that you come across The main point is to keep focused on applying all the methods you can... AROUND ONE PRODUCT! Most niches out there can easily sustain paying you a decent income just from one single product. Getting scattered between many projects will only water down your efforts and cause your success to lag. Staying focused with a die-hard attitude is the best route to take, IMO. Hope that helped! Let me know
Do you have any tips for someone who's trying to advertise his product to affiliates to get them to promote their own products?
I have found very good affiliate product but i haven't found yet the easiest way to get more traffics to my affiliate link. Can you show me where to go?
