http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/edinburgh_and_east/6149594.stm That for Sikhs is like the ultimate disgrace. What is the world coming to nowadays
sorry but this is not a way to reply of this thread.this is not funny, this is related to some person's feelings and you should not behave like that.
Sikhs are not supposed to not cut their hair. We believe God made us the way he wanted us to be, if God wanted us to have short hair, then it'd stop growing itself. In the past, Sikhs have given up their lives rather than cut their hair so please, show respect where its due.
Perhaps, a free eunich service can be offered to you. Just a snip and the world is a better place for all.
I find that offense and racist.... Think before you type and think before you comment on such a sensitive issue.
We do cut our fingernails and toenails, only the dead part. The white part of a nail is dead whereas the rest of the nail is not. So we cut the dead part of the nail. Similar to as we comb hair twice daily and remove any fallen out, dead hair.
I am not a Sikh but I knows what does it mean to Sikhs. You shouldn't post something that hurts someone religious thoughts. Some reds for you.
This is very bad., Iam not a sikh too, but people have the right to religious freedom., I pity that boy
Maybe this thread shouldn't be posted at a webmaster forum, at all. Do you honestly think that people are going to join this thread and show nothing but respect for all religions and political viewpoints and that at the end of the day something will be accomplished? You guys must be reading a different forum that I am.
You are right. My penis should be cut off because of a joke I made on the internet. Lucky for you, it's a big one, so you should have no problem finding it.
you only cut the "dead" part of your nails. dead meaning there are no nerves there. there are no nerves in your hair.
I posted it with the intention that some people may learn something. A lot of problems occur due to lack of knowledge and I hoped that this thread would make people aware about Sikhism and some of its beliefs. I apologise to anyone who thinks this should not have been posted.
The point is not if the nail or hair is dead..it is about respecting a person's belief. No one ask you to read this post, and you have choice not to respond..
Exactly. It really does not hurt to respect, even if you do not happen to agree. You believe in something, and others do too. Unless someone's beliefs are causing immediate damage to you, why don't you just respect them and leave them alone?
You do not need to apologize at all. This thread is in the right place as this is the Politics & Religion section. Talking about a racist act against someone who belongs to a religion does definitely belong here.
well most foreigners mistake sikhs with muslims and that causes a lot of incidents like this ,feel sorry for that boy..
