Everyday I have 30,000 image views of pics on my site that have been posted on myspace. It isn't really causing me any bandwidth problems, but I could be getting 30,000 plugs for my website each day if I just had the name at the bottom of each picture like we've all seen some sites have. I have about 100 pics. I doubt I'll take the time to do it. I'm not looking for anything fancy. just the site name added to each image. You photoshop experts could probably do it 10 times faster than me. Anyone interested in making an offer? Thanks.
wow- thanks everyone for your offers. I think I've got someone now, but if it falls thru I'll repost. Thanks again!
Just FYI, this can be done with an unix shell script in about 10 seconds. Here is your perfect tool http://www.imagemagick.com/
Thanks. I had no idea... I assumed it took time to do each img separately. Makes sense there'd be a script. There's a script for everything. This response is even an automatic script. Cafinater is actually on vacation.
mikkom : Photoshop's batch processing is much easier to understand and has more extensive features. But in some cases say like "all" images have different dimensions, depth and when you need to decide whether to use drop shadows or change the watermark's color to meet a client's need, manual mode comes into place. No offense, the script is nice. I tried it myself just now. Will need to work though on reading and memorizing the commands which will be cumbersome for most people accustomed to using a tool palette.
This can be setup to watermark/brand images on the fly with a php image script, so that when more images are added they can be automatically branded ..
