Blog flipping?

i have heard about the blog flipping. can you share your experince on this.

 

I've flipped a couple of blogs/websites. Nothing major but I've bought sites for a couple hundred, done some SEO work, site redesign and better monetization and managed to sell them for several hundred using Flippa.com.

I have been confused with the term "flip/flipping". What it is exactly? I just came to know that is a thing related to SEO but not sure what it is. Any one can elaborate it?

 

Blog Flipping is a brilliant business just like a real estate flipping. In blog flipping a person create a blog and sell to second person. Second person post some articles on the blog and increase authority and sell to third person on high price.

Site flipping is more of a dead business now IMO. At least not anywhere close to what it was before.
Back in the days before google started all these panda, farmers updates it was lot easier to build a site, have content targeting some keywords, then sell it. These days you will have hard time selling a site unless it has any real business value or the domain makes some business value.
