2nd position but no traffic

Hello my website is ranking on 2nd position on google 1st page with the keyword which has 60,500 local usa search but still my site is not getting traffic

i check the traffic with google analytics but it shows on 2 visitors per day

please help me (

 

Hi mate,

Can i know on which keyword your are working on for your website. Because some time keyword may be on top in searching but there is no use of that if the keyword is not related to your keyword.

What are you using to check your rankings?

 

I think this is not enough for improve your traffic. You have to do some other processes like Article Submission, Social Bookmarking, Rss Feed Submission. And Also maintain SMO process to advertise your site like Facebook, Twitter, Linkdin etc. everyday. I am sure it definitely help to improve your site traffic.

 

it may be posible that your site hasn't good look. increase your traffic.

 

Check the Meta description. If Google is using meta description in the listing page and your meta description is not related to the keyword, you will not get traffic.

 

To get traffic do PPC managment then see you will get huge traffic and in Google Adwords go for Bid based system

It appears your keyword research is off. If you are using the match type "Global" to search your keyword, then it is going to show the 60,000+ searches like you suggested.

Because you have selected global, it is displaying how many searches there are with your keywords in the phrase somewhere. That means motor vehicle attorney itself does not get 60,000 searches. It is totaling up everything for that number. Example: motor vehicle attorney in CA, motor vehicle attorney in WA, motor vehicle attorney online. All of the different variations of keywords with motor vehicle attorney in it are being totaled up for that 60,000 number when your match type is global.

To correct this, change your match type to "exact" and you will see that motor vehicle attorney only gets 12 local US searches a month.

 

use some more keywords and add meta description in your site .....then you will get good ranking in google search dont forgot to add robot.txt file

 

That sounds pretty crazy. I don't know why. It could be that you SEO title is not relevant. It could be that the program you are using for keyword research is not right. 60,000 is pretty high. Make sure that you have selected Exact match.
