Actually, Google updates its page rank in every moth. So, you have to wait at least 1 month for next update of Google.
The updates don't occur periodically. There's no set schedule for it. For all we know it could be tomorrow.
Agreed. Google doesn't come right out and tell us this stuff. Everything they do is kept pretty secret.
From my experience google update page rank at every 3 month. but all the fact of their internal matter.
It was normally update from 3 months. That was usual update of Pagerank. In that span of time, you must do quality link building in order to increase the PR of your site.
Yes as far the most records it updates in every 3 months. So it must be on May after the last Feb update.
There are a lot of parrots in this thread who i wish would advise my competitors how to do their SEO!! Google updates PR every day on a continuous basis and factors that PR into the search results every day. WHen they feel like it, usually every 3 or so months, they export a historical useless snapshot of that internal PR to the toolbar to amuse us. PR updates are never worth waiting for, as the nothing changes, as that PR has already been factored into the search results as some previous date.
Came in to quote this. The PR that shows on the toolbar doesn't really matter at all. Ok maybe it does to see if the backlinks in your blog networks are still being counted. However the relevancy of the content is constantly getting updated, might be daily, every minute, every hour, I'm not sure, but we'll just keep that as 'constantly'. Continue building backlinks, the PR updates wouldn't really matter.
But, I'm confused that how you guys are telling the time/dates of page rank updates? Is there published in any google official blog or got notice emails?
They have no idea. That is why I love DigitalPoint so much - I want my competitors to come here and get their SEO advice! Of course there's not.
Are you guys sure, the last pagerank update was in the month of February. Since I did not see any changes for my sites, the pagerank were the same and also not many sites changed their PR.
