I have a website, let's say specialkeyword .com, and I want to rank #1 for "special keyword". I have links on PR3 and lower sites and a few articles on some sites but I don't seem to be able to get to the 1st page. What am I doing wrong or what else should I do?
that's really depend on you keyword... some have much more competition than others... PM me your details and i'll be able to help you more hopefully
Your most likely not doing anything wrong. You will need to assess the competition on page 1 to figure out what you need to do to rank ahead of them. Your research might determine that you need 300 back links with an average PR from those links of 2 (assuming that all your onsite SEO is done correctly). So, at its most basic level thats what you will need to do to potentially out rank your competition. Have you assessed your competition to see what you need to do?
It's Depend on Your Site And Your Selected Keywords and Then Your Site ON Page Strategy Like Site Url Normalization,Quality Content And Meta's Site Image Optimization And Many More Things .Then Your Off Page Work.So Its Very Tuff To Say That
for a most competitive keyword if you want to on first position in Google first page, you should have to keep about 200 parameters include overall things in promotional activities
Through on seo techniques, in seo 2 types for techniques like on page optimizations, off page optimizations, based on these you will bring your website in search pages.
It takes time. How long have you been working on it to try to get it to page one? Just make sure you keep at it....although i'm not sure why you're targeting a term with a low search rate. Kevin
Well, you can bring this on the 1st page with Blog commenting. This will really help your key word to boost.
..but blog comments are nofollow most of the times. Are they still useful? Should I add my keywords as my commenter name? Or..?
First of all we need to select the keywords which we want to target and get ranked. Once we have done the keyword selection process then we can start building the backlinks and get a good page rank for our website. Once getting a high PR then we will be able to show our website in the top of the search results for the keywords or phrases which we have targeted to be in the top of the google search results (1st page).
You should maintain or monitor your website everyday. Updating the content would help to increase the traffic of your website that lead to higher PR as long as the information are unique. You also apply social bookmarking, social media, etc.http://www.bestoffshoreoutsourcing.com/
Build more links, that's it. Checkout my latest thread if you need to know how to speed up the process.
With the help of forums posting and blog commenting you can gain lots of quality backlinks. Then you can see your website on google first page.
You need lots of high quality backlinks pointing to your site to help you get on the first page of Google. There are lots of so call tools and software out there that promise to get your site on the first page, but most fall short of their promises. I use two main pieces of software to get my sites on page one of Google and Yahoo. For on-page optimization I use SEOPressor and for my backlinks I use Backlink Flood. You will not get on the first page of the search engines if you are targeting the wrong keywords and you don't have high quality backlinks pointing to your site post/pages. There are many ways to get backlinks pointing to your site, but if you get crappy links it hurts your site rankings. It is very important that you get the right kind of links pointing to your site. Getting on the first page of Google is just half the challenge. The other half is staying on page one. If you get caught in the Google Dance, you could be on page one to day and on page 500 tomorrow. That is why the right types of backlinks are so important. I learn this lesson the hard way. I was always looking for shortcuts and easy ways to get my sites ranked. Once I learn that it takes time and effort to do things the right way, now I have lots of pages/post on the first page of Google. And the goods news is that my sites remain on page one.
