That is a good question. I think both would benifit from it. What ever page rank is passed on to 1111.com then 3333.com would also get a boost, but I am not sure if it would be exackly the same or not. Maybe 3333.com would get a portion but not all. Sounds like something that would be great for a test just to find out.

Nope. If site A has a link to site B and site B redirects to site C then site C gets the full hit and site B gets nought. That's the thing about redirects. It actually redirects instantly. It's like it bypasses the site without even looking at it. Therefore, bots would not even look at it.

    Hope this helps.

What if there were some sort of timer like "Please wait, you will be redirected in 5 seconds" ?

I think this would make for a different outcome.

You would have to determine the page rank bot's amount of time it needs to gather info. I think the google PR bot is way too smart for what you are thinking.

It depends sometimes it can go to 33333 but NOT always . Redirects aren't so good to play with .

Exactly if your using a 301 Redirect.

    Timed part does not matter.

If you have it for a long period its probably not going to work. Yes, bots are too smart for that, thats why they are Robots :)

Anyway, what's the point to redirect? If i got a domain got a backlink from PR10, I would not redirect it to another website.

If you really want good PR to your redirct website i.e. 333 instead 111, create 301 REDIRECT for 111 to 333. Then search engines consdier all the ranking factors applied to 333 website (so 111 website is gone)

Do n't use the words like "your are going to redirect to another website within 5 sec" on 111 website because for your it is redirect but for search engines can find the redirect URLs (only with 301). So when bot visit your website 111, they apply all ranking factors to this 111 website only because it is still live.
