We license Health eCooking recipes and cooking videos to healthcare websites. We've added pin buttons to each recipe and healthcare agencies are creating their own boards using the recipes to drive traffic back to their websites. You should try getting cheap followers and repins from Fiver and see how that works. Also bare in mind that the most users there are female and most of them don't make more than 60k a year. Learn more about Pinterest demographics on Quantcast or Alexa and maybe you can find something to promote to them...
I have registered with pinterest when they are launching and recently did some uploading my blog posts. The result is amazing that the post go 3rd result in search results in minutes.
I've been into Pinterest for a month. I may say I am still lucky because I've got 100+ followers. For others who don't know Pinterest yet, the number may seem so small but it can do good because everyday, the number of followers is constantly growing especially when you posted videos and images which are really interesting and share same interest with others.
I've only spent a bit of time on Pinterest. I stopped because the results I was getting weren't as good as my efforts on other social media sites (twitter's works well for me).
Pinterest fits mostly women stuff sellers or maybe photographers, and hardly other people. I mean, there still might be some effect, but incomparable one.
I think for using pinterest, we have need more time and its not possible for me to giving so much time. So I think its useless for me.
What's great about Pinterest is how your pinned pictures are arranged. A lot of interior design-related websites benefit from Pinterest, actually, judging on the site's homepage. But if your niche is about SEO or finance, there's a slight chance that you'll get traffic out of it using Pinterest.
I really like the idea of pinterest and can see why people would like the site but at the end of the day i was looking to make some money i joined and tried seling all sorts of things even shoes and jewellery with no luck made no monies and seemed like a waste of time i heard of some people making money with it and when i managed to talk with these people they said they were getting vouchers that could only be spent in certain places again not my thing and the other people that claimed to make money told me they used blackhat software that cost them around $500 for each account that could get them banned or eventually detected my pinterest spam bots.
Pinterest is very interesting Social networking sites. I started Pinterest about a month ago and see it drives us traffic for our sites. Through images people can re-pin your images and the good thing is the url is remain in the image so lot of chance to get traffic.
