Can I Pay HostGator Bills Using PayPal (without Credit/Debit Card linked) ?

    Hey Everyone,

    I have a question about PayPal, hope someone can help me out.

    I have recently registered for a PayPal account and added my Bank account and PAN.

    I haven't confirmed the bank account yet. But let's assume that I have confirmed it and my PayPal account is no longer "LIMITED".

    Can I pay hostgator bills using PayPal? Or I should link a Credit/Debit card to pay the bills?

    When I "simply" tried to pay a hostgator bill using PayPal (before confirming the bank account) it asked me to enter the credit/debit card details. Will it be the same even after confirming my bank account?

    PayPal made few changes to their rules which confused me a lot.

    No, Indians can't use PayPal balance and need to use credit card to make payments.

    Is it possible if I link a Debit card?
    Because paypal asked for Credit/Debit card.

    You can go for Hostgator India, if you don't have credit card.
    No. You can't add Indian Debit Card

    If you have 'MasterCard Secure Code' or 'Verified by Visa' debit card, then open HostGator billing system and enter it.

    There is a way to pay hostgator without Credit card and Paypal. You can use (VCC) Virtual credit card to complete the payment.

    Unfortunately, you only have two choices: either add a VCC, as krishna22211 mentioned earlier, or to link your credit/debit card with PayPal.
