Which is the best method to promote Clickbank Affiliate link, Is it to get a website or simply take the affiliate link and promote?

 

I would set up a website, But I would promote it every way I could, Articles, Social media, and more

Marketing on forums can be effective as long as you're promoting the product on a relevant forum AND you actually contribute to other sections. People will be less inclined to buy from you if you only post an ad and don't provide any useful information in other discussions/threads.

 

do some keyword research for the product you are promoting. build a site with your product or with a few similar products. focus on onpage optimization and once the site is built, promote the site using SEO. pick keywords that are moderately competitive and have decent search volume. lot of people pick keywords that have high search volume not realizing that those keywords also have high level of competition. keywords that have moderate competition are lot easier to rank than keywords that have high level of competition. good luck

 

If you are looking for the best long term method to promote any king of program/affiliate link, you will need to create a website and spend some serious time (and maybe money) and do some serious SEO before you see any results...

If you are looking for a quick sort term method, the affiliate link is all you need. I have a tool that finds people on twitter that are tweeting about something they are looking for, and you can tweet them back with the appropriate affiliate link...

before you commit to building out a dedicated website to promote a product you might want to consider testing out if the product will convert for you and there are several ways to go about this.

You could use;

1. youtube and record a short review style video with your affiliate link in the description.
2. Article directories with a short article about the product giving the pros and cons and why it might be of benefit to the reader.
3. yahoo answers to search out people asking questions about the product if its already known or search out questions and keywords/phrases related to the product your looking to promote. Write a useful answer for the poster and suggest looking at the product your wanting to promote. Try not to make this a blatant sales pitch as your answer could get flagged as spam. always try to be helpful.
