Is anyone here working with this program? And if so, how has it worked out for you? Thinking about joining the program
Hostgator has worked pretty well for me, but the bigger share of my income is from inmotion hosting. cheers josh
HostGator, just like all hosting programs, boasts very high commission rates. The problem is, it's not always easy to convert traffic. I've tried a wide variety of niches, including hosting, and I've had some of my worst conversions with these type of programs. I think the main problem is, people see the ad, review, comparison, etc. on your website and they can easily type the URL right into their browser. So many times, people don't even click when they visit your site. And even when they do click, I found that most of these hosting programs had horrible conversions. I know people will say it has to do with traffic quality, but I've found lots of succes in other niches. Most of my traffic is very targeted search engine traffic and hosting performed horribly. For me, the best niches have fallen in the 'finance' niche (see my sig)...
Yeah it's a bit tough getting into this. I'm not started yet, but I can already see the obstacles that lie ahead.
ive had zero sales from hostgator. Its free to signup anyway so just go for it, create some coupon codes, throw them in some of your sites somewhere and if your lucky you will earn.
i receive quite alot of sales per month nearly always on the second tier of commission, but this would all depend on how targeted your traffic is and the relevance of your website.
Yes the service is good, the commission is well but conversion is very tough. Is anyone have any Good experience of conversion rate.
Hostgator affiliate is good. They do pay as I received a payment from them awhile back for an affiliate link that I posted somewhere on the internet. I had totally forgot I posted that link until I received $50.00 in my paypal account. Chad
It's been amazing so far! They pay so well and if you can get people who are really interested in web hosting, you can make a bag of money. Try email marketing or forum marketing as some free methods of doing it.
