Late last night I was checking my stats and I suddenly saw a huge influx of people coming from Google. Almost like it was before they screwed up changes, so I thought, hey man, this is good. Back to normal!
I checked with McDar and I could see in some, not all, datacenters that my site was in there again where it used to be so I went to bed, happy that Google now sees it my way.
This morning I checked my stats and I could see that it lasted for a couple of hours in the middle of the night, but the again this morning it was back to it's normal shitty traffic :(
Somehow, Google did a change and then decided that it wasn't good enough, or something........
Oh, and another thing I also see is that my cached pages are from way back in March again plus there is a lot of spam sites, blog site with blog spam, blog site that are no blogs but just a lot of mumbo jumbo keywords.......

Not sure what happened last night if it was test run or what but an hour ago or so Google flipped the switch and turned on my site again. Praying that this will last!!!
Last thing I did was to ask for a reinclusion request telling them that I had a check to see if it was a search engine that was visiting and if it was then don't do the sessionID. I thought that they might think that this was some cloaking going on so I removed the check.
Traffic is back to normal right now (only God knows how long it will last) and it is even better than before June 27th! YEAHHHhhhh.....:)

I have noticed that it seems that tweeking the algorithm, rollbacks, or whatever it is that they do seems to happen late at night U.S. time.....

Atleast that is what it seems like to me...

Glad to hear you too are back! Not sure for how long until they rollback again though but we'll take what we can for now. It also seems that supplemental pages are back in the normal index and i don't see a lot of spam sites like i have been since June, so maybe this is something good:eek:

yeah I noticed some really odd as well like around 3AM this morning. Lots of sites that had lots of backlinks ranked very high and I noticed for my sites as well that I was ranking #3 for my target term but then it all reverted back when I woke up.

Yesturday alot of my pages went into Supplemental results and also my top rankings disappeared. They have not come back since, even though I have done alot of marketing for the site.

    I hope it recovers soon.

What type of marketing? Ever hear the saying "all roads lead to rome" Some webmasters think that is true of seo and promotion. Well it isn't.

The type of marketing is using forums, web directories, submissions to top sites, article marketing. I also get alot of sites linking to me as my site is popular and alot of people like it.

It may be another reason for the drop though, I am looking into a script of mine where I have denied two IP's from clicking on a deny IP button on my servers control panel. I have a feeling that the server's control panel has written it wrong and can't be trusted.

I have asked others and they say it should be written differently, but can't see who it could have done the damage as I can access the site and so can others, I also didn't see any downfall in traffic from it once I did do the IP banning.
