Can I put adsense on video blogs?

    I'm creating a blog to consolidate all videos on youtube (niche topic)

    The blog will display youtube videos or other vids from other sharing sites.

    Is it legal to place adsense on my blog?

    yes you can put adsense and can make good money from that... if you put adsense on your videos than it will give you very good response. try to put your ads link in diffrent social networking websites and when you get some traffic you can apply for adsense. better to read adsense guidelines for vides.

    Yes its legal, but it would be illegal to put Adsense on the videos directly if you did not own them. Good luck with your site :)

    Yes this is allowed. Just make sure you read the TOS so that you don't get banned by Google.

    You can, but make sure your video pages have enough content to satisfy Adsense.

    Actually I was looking at the Google code dev rules and it says you can not advertise adsense ads on a site if the youtube videos are the main content of the site. So they allow you to exclude the video code for the GoogleBot and run adsense on the text content.

    Why not, if your videos have good information to user and they are happy with it than you can put Google Adsense, don't take be wrong cause if you users are happy watching your sharing video than you will get more income from Google adsense because more people will stay on your website and that means more people are watching your Google adsense ad, is there any point putting the code of google adsense into the website if you are not making any money from it..I hope this make sense and helps you..

    I believe thats ok, BUT make sure you have a certain level of original content on the pages with the video, to avoid any issues.
    Even just a short description of the video that was written and not copied from elsewhere, and you should be fine.

    Even a simple opinionated review. I have a blog where I've used the same concept.
