Alexa Rank Low

Hi DP,

I created a site not long back few weeks maybe and currently it's receiving 100 - 500 views per day but it's N/A in alexa. How do you boost the alexa rank so it ranks a little?

It takes time. Try to do SEO optimization for your site and bring in traffics about 500 unique visits per day instead of page views

Get some high PR backlinks from some paid directories, blogs and other sites. Just 10 High PR backlinks from relevant sites can cut your Alexa in Half or better. Of course this is just an example you want to keep on promoting your site.

 

alexa ranking is based on how many people having alexa toolbar installed visiting your site. you can use that data for amusement purposes but that doesn't really mean anything or give you any accurate statistics about your total visitors. add your site into google analytics if you havn't done already which will give you lot better idea about your traffic.

 

Installing the Alexa toolbar may help.

 

Integrate Alexa data such as Traffic Rank, Related Links, and Top Sites, directly into your site. This may help you increase your alexa rank.

Install Alexa Toolbar. try to search your site from it. Place the Alexa rank widget in your site.

Nothing to worry. Alexa rank depends on the regularity of your site updating.
My site jumped from 10 lakhs to 4 laksh in 2 weeks, by daily updating with relevant articles.
