    Hi,

The forum here is great but ..

My experience is with buy/sell/trade section. the main problem is that it's full of scammers. buyers and sellers.
I know that's common in online business but at least there should be something to filter all the garbage!

I suggest that no item should be listed until it's reviewed and approved. on the other hand, there should be some guide lines and help provided for newbies like handling reviews requests, fake payments, selling process ( adding special features to threads to make the post look professional instead of the same options found in all other sections ).

Personally I don't mind if there are extra costs to cover the extra service. as long as it's reasonable and provides help for everyone.

DP forum is wonderful in my opinion, it just needs to be organized and structured.

Hope that I will see that soon :)

    Thank you,

    Mike

If members see anything that violate our forum rules, please use the bad post report to alert us. A vigilant membership is a great line of defense.

Yeah and a complete waste of time that is!
I reported 2 warez sellers last week and nothing has been done, perhaps some more vigilant mods would be a better line of defense.

I found one 13 day old report but not the second one.

The mods are volunteers and we work pretty vigilantly. You wouldn't see a fraction of the stuff we clear away quickly.

The truth is every time you buy/sell something on any site (be it ebay, craigslist or whatever) you will encounter scammers. It's just common sense. No site should be held responsible for what type of people sign up with them.

I've been making a fair few eports lately and and they seem to be clearly them quickly. The mods are definitely vigilant and responsive. DP's BST system is free, unlike other sites, so their efforts are definitely very good. You'll even notice posts by sarahk on some dubious offerings. If people are too lazy to read beyond the first post and do a bit of due diligence, then they only have themselves to blame. It's the same when you buy anything in life, you look beyond the salesperson's pitch.

I agreed to you. I also experiencing this kind of issue in our forum, though we are doing constant reminder, members are keep on creating thread about 'scammers' and 'victims of scam'. Oh God in heaven.
Don't say that, probably it's a subjective report and needs some more proof before taking action(s).
