Search results suck lately?

As an internet user not a webmaster, have any of you noticed crappy search results lately? The last week or so I have done some searches and the results being displayed were not accurate or related to what I searched for at all. Usually if you have a question, you can Google the entire question and find people that have asked the same question. The last week or two I have noticed these bad search results and I am wondering if it's due to the most recent updates. Searching for a question, with the words "how to" in them, all I got was products for sale.
What do you all think? Have you noticed any difference or am I just crazy? lol

Yeah, it seems like Google really favors Wikipedia lately. As for search results, if I'm not happy with Google results, I'll just try Yahoo. :)

Got to be honest I haven't noticed any difference. I suppose it depends what you are searching for.

Ya, might have just been the things I was searching for. When I searched my term it was only showing products for sale for 3 pages.

Hey it is also possible that it has something to do with your browsing history. Were you logged in when u were searching for the keywords and are those search results related to the things u might always keep looking for...???
