    Hi,

I have a movie trailer site built on wordpress. I bought a theme and a PHP script which actually feeds the trailers from the most popular trailer sites and this is how it is made legal PLUS you will be using their bandwidth not yours. If you search for a script similar to mine I am sure you can find one fast. Check out my site if you like at www, buncha movies .com ( remove spaces )
Notice how the trailer links go to another website which I won't mention here.

    Hope this helps!!!

    Regards,

Before publishing them you must have their legal document. Other wise don't use them. Its surely illegal.

there are millions of topics to build a site on and use adsense. why use something that is questionable? trailers are properties of the copyright owners therefore you might have an issue if yuo are not authorized to distribute them

Well why don't I just visit youtube for trailers? Why do I need to go to your site to see what's already posted on youtube?

I got my reasons, but you didn't answer the question...
Can I publish on my site movie trailers from YouTube?
    Is it legal?

I don't give a crap about your reasons, the point is, I as a youtube viewer would prefer to go to youtube directly for trailers instead of going to your site as a hub for trailers.

If you are embedding legally uploaded YouTube videos then yes it is legal. By enabling embedding they are giving you permission. Be sure to only use ones that appear to be uploaded by a legit source. YouTube is full of copiers. Unfortunately for you most of the official uploaders will be YouTube partners so you will have to put up with their ads detracting from your own. Adding copied text would not be allowed but you should be able to make your own by reading about the movies and putting it into your own words.
Making a site entirely of embedded YouTube videos I believe is against the rules so you must add a decent amount of other content also.
Ignore Projectmobias. If your site has enough content to make it interesting then people will be happy to stay and watch the videos there. If you are simply trying to recreate YouTube on your own site it's unlikely to work.

If you embed the YouTube trailers then it is 100% legal. If you try to download them to your pc then upload them to your site that becomes illegal. As for questions why someone would go to this type of site is because it's organized. Check out www.devour.com they have like 20,000 fans on their Facebook page and they share cool videos daily.
