I am yet to comprehend this obsession on PR. Sure it0's important for credibility, but it certainly does not accurately portray how well you are doing in the SEs. Here is a case study of one of my campaigns that completely backs my statement: Loja das flores is a Flower retail store. Our main level keywords (the ones that provide a better ROI) are "encomenda de flores" (flower delivery) Site: http://www.lojadasflores.pt Keywords: Encomenda de flores (Flower delivery) Rank: #1 and #2 PR:0 Keywords: Encomenda flores (Flower delivery without "de") Rank: #3 and #4 PR:0 Keywords: Encomenda de rosas (Roses delivery) Rank: #3 and #4 PR:0 Keywords: Encomenda rosas (Roses delivery) Rank: #3 and #4 PR:0 Please not that this is a 4 month old site.
They sure do. And above all, the traffic is very relative and converting like crazy. Main level keywords, such has flowers do not really necessarily bring you conversions.
I see your point, but all it means is that PR is a TRAILING indicator. In otherwords, if you are too dumb to know your site is popular in certain circles, then PR is right there to step in and smack you in your thick skull!
