I am planning to buy a site which has 3k uniqes a day with 200K hits, however the site is crap, I want to build it from scratch, What do you thnink the highest paid niche by AdSense? Ringtones? Dating? Educaion? Music? Medical? Wed Design? ...
I think is like dating/medical, music/medical/education, webdesign ! You can research how much keywords with overture bid tool, or adwords if you have an account.
If you suddenly change the subject of the site wouldn't you lose the uniques you are currently getting, and if not surely they'd be coming to a site expecting one thing and finding another.
Maybe it is crap BUT the uniques /day are there for a reason...because they are interested on whatever the site is about. If you change content you will change the audience too. The traffic will come for a while but slowly going off! And don't forget the DOMAIN NAME that must be related for the content ! Maybe if you do a major make over with the same theme/niche and add some more you will benefit more on the traffic! Cheers!
Yes but its crap with 3k UV's a day! I'd say monetise the traffic you currently get and start a new site if you want to get into a new niche. I would also recommend you start a site about something you enjoy and have a knowledge of rather than picking a high paying keyword / niche.
