    I have a Lenovo 3000 Y410 bought 5 Years ago, With Configuration:
    Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU T2310 @1.46GHz 1.47 GHz
Installed Memory (RAM): 3.00 GB, 1GB from from Lenovo and 2GB I expanded of other brand
    System type: 32-bit Operating System
    Hard Disk Size: 100GB

And My Laptop is running very slow so I reinstalled Windows 7 (Genuine) but then also their is not much difference, what you think what else is making the computer slower ?

Remove unwanted software's from your laptop and never keep lots of files in the desktop (files which are being placed in the desktop will occupy the space in RAM so laptop/PC will automatically get slow). I would also recommend you to try defragmenting your hard drives (c: d: etc).

slow processor, very low amount of RAM and more then likely a 5400rpm hard drive. So all together slow. If you were to have installed Windows XP with those specs it would be a different story, but don't expect Windows 7 to run at optimal speed with what you currently have.

Also, you said there was 1gb of ram originally and you added an extra 2gb. Was the new ram that you added the same speed or faster then the old 1gb? If it's faster that's fine, but ALL 3gb will run at the speed of the slowest ram in the laptop. In either case, don't expect much more then what you're getting right now in performance.

Try cleaning cooling system of CPU and videocard -perhaps your bios doesn't allow CPU to run at high frequencies due to high temperature.

That may help, but his laptop is underpowered to begin with so even if it runs at an optimal temperature it will not increase the speed of anything.
