contest site of the year

    Hi guys,

    Today is a great day for my website. Here in Belgium there is a well known IT-magazine that organises a contest for the best pro- and amateur website, and the best blog of the year…
    And guess what…I made it to the 100 nominates of this year in the category amateur sites.
    Now people can vote for their favourite site so I hope to get a lot of traffic till the 27 of November…
    After that round, and if I made it to the top 10, there will be also a lot of exposure in national newpapers. So I hope for the best.

    Too bad everything is in Dutch otherwise I would have asked you to vote also. For those willing to try to learn Dutch :) you can vote on www.sitevanhetjaar.be and will find my site under the category Amateur, www.boekensite.net (number 17 I believe)

    I must admit I’m a little bit proud…:eek:

    Hey thanks.
    Right now the contest is over and the results are known.
    I finished 13th. Good result but too bad I didn't finish in the top 10. Those guys have free exposure in the national newspapers with a lot of traffic as result.
    I'll try again next year :rolleyes:
