Many hours on google and searches for top quality laptops, read hundreds of reviews and I'm one of those people who can't walk out of the shoe store because I can't make up my mind.

    It goes in this order
    1. Price - Lower then $700
    2. Speed at LEAST 4 gig ram and i3 or i5 doesn't matter
    3. Screen size at least 14"
    4. Hard Drive close to 500gb
    5. Battery Life above 5 hours+

    Don't care for gaming.
What is your advice and the reason for that laptop.

I currently really like the HP PAVILION G7 but HP Pavilions seem so popular and tons of people have them
Then ultrabooks are super nice but too pricey :(

With this money 700$ you can buy toshiba satelite with amd processor, 6 gb Ram, 500Gb HD.

Toshiba is great for your activity.

I recommend going for an i7 regardless if you are going to do any gaming or not, this is surely going to help with the workload you do on it.

Not a big fan of HP tho, i would stick with either Dell or Toshiba

Recently (last week) one of my friend's bought a laptop with the similar configuration and i.e. manufactured by Lenovo. Try to search their catalog and see if it is OK for you.

The most highly evolved species of computer, the laptop (aka notebook) computer allows you to work without being tethered to an office. Portability and good performance make laptop PCs an essential part of the daily lives of millions of people, from college students to business travelers. Even the least-expensive of today's laptops are well equipped for everyday work.

You can assembled a system as per your requirement and configuration which you want to your system. As per the matter of buying a laptop you can go with Sony Viao, its better and fully featured system included superb look.
