Fiverr is the site that sold a thing for $5.As what i can see,there are a lot of active seller and buyer.Fiverr will get 20% of commission for every sell makes.which mean if the seller sell 1 gig for $5,fiverr will get $1.This mean,how much that the monthly revenue for this site? did anyone know?
Fiverr now is 200 on alexa and still climbing rapidly. I guess they are getting more than 1 million visitor a day, so of course they are making a fortune.
According to Worth of Web, their monthly revenue is $882,240. I don't know where they get their information from, though.
I think Fiverr is a really bargain for everybody! For those who buy, for those who sell and for those who had this great idea!!
$900k per month!! I think I need to stop internet marketing for my measly income and use my brain juices to think of how I can create something like this! WOW!!!
They'll be making thousands and thousands of dollars every day, as thousands of gigs are sold every hour! They must make so much as a company! They deserve it though, I've earned loads from them and they've done me really well.
I think it's a great concept. They're not doing anything but promoting the website and they probably not doing as much promoting as when they did when the site first started. People sell and buy thousands of services every day and they just keep 1 dollar off each sale. Quite clever.. I'm not surprised they're making 900k per month, many people know about fiverr.
I keep pondering that question really. It's 20% off it, and when you add it all up you see that they've taken off quite a good bit of money from you if you have had a lot of gig orders. But at the same time, you wouldn't be earning money if they weren't around so you could put it that way if you wanted.

If this is true, it wouldn't surprise me. Have you seen how many gigs are listed on Fiverr? People are buying and selling services/products on there all the time -- some (albeit a small percentage) make thousands every month, others earn hundreds, some significantly less. Fiverr is a pretty lucrative site, for both users and the owners.
They are clearing $10K monthly EASY! If anyone is interested, I'm selling a Fiverr clone site in the Business section here. Fiverr really started something big and its spreading!
