The market value as well as the content being produced has suffered. To me the issue is really about American English being outsourced to Indians who can't speak or write it. Their cost of living is far below someone in the U.S. so they are willing to take less money. The outcome is people who don't speak English well (in most cases) being forced to compete with people that do. Not only being forced to compete but actually becoming obsolete at this site to a certain extent. So someone can pay pennies to someone who can't do what we can just so they can save money. That is the issue I have. Not only that but most of the people aren't serious writers to begin with. It's just a hussle. I'm truly worried about the future of the internet where everything is re-worded from wiki content which may not even be accurate to begin with. To make matters worse the content is written in broken English. This is what's going on. It's not just about wanted to be paid fare wages. That is a very simplistic view of the broader subject. It must be noted that the buyer has a lifetime to profit from content we supply as well. That should be taken into consideration in the context of this discussion. Even if you pay fair wages nines times out of ten you will still make out in the long run. People are getting over on writers here. I see what writers charge at places such as constant content and I compare it to DP. This just isn't the place for serious writers to be.

Someone mentioned grammar in regards to post playing a role in hiring writers. I personally don't think it should but that's just my opinion. The same way I don't feel employers should have access to facebook passwords of potential employees. What/how I write in a personal post is not the same as what/how I write for clients. This is a informal discussion not a showcase of my writing abilities. I'm not going to proof read this or do the other things I do like I do when I write for clients.
