Hi, I recently came across a company that would like to work with me on a CPM campaign but the minimum purchase is $10k per month at $3 CPM rate. They offer CPM/CPA advertising but require a large amount of orders to run the CPA campaign as they are very targeted in their marketing and thus they need to run a CPM campaign to see what type of visitors actually convert to my business. However, $10K is a lot to spend on CPM per month and I've never really used CPM marketing before, and I wouldn't want to spend $10k and only make lets say for ex. $5k profit, then I would be at a $5k loss..If anyone out there is knowledgeable in CPM marketing or has any advice for me, I would be more than willing to connect and give more details via PM, Skype, MSN, Gtalk, etc. The business in question is in my signature (first one in red). Ratman2050, why don`t you run the campaign yourself using CPV/PPC based traffic? Spending $10k on a CPM campaign is a considerable amount particularly when it`s a traffic source that you haven`t used before. You can easily fund a campaign with some of the large ad networks and test thoroughly for say $1k.
This is true, however, these are not just ads, this company targets my exact customer base, based on previous conversion data they have been tracking to give me the most conversions per impression. Sure I could do it myself, however, I believe they have bigger infrastructure and experience setup to get the most conversions whereas I may waste $1k myself on some random websites. Thank you for the input however, I will take it into consideration.
I totally understand what you are saying re the targeting/demographic and so on. So yes, you wouldn`t be able to compete with their tools etc however you can still use plenty of targeting yourself (such as country/state filtering/site property type). Your business model looks good. I wish you every success.
I have a feeling that if you do an effective keyword research and run PPC campaign, your website will get more success than CPM network. And with that budget you can also target the exact targeted audience for you are wanting.
