torrent marketing

    I have been looking into ways of "advertising" over torrent networks and so far only one book has turned up, which I thik it's weird: [LINK REMOVED BY MOD] does anyone have any experience with torrents or has even read the book?

    Torrents are great for targeted traffic, but i have never used this smashwords.

    smashwords is just a book store that came up when I searched for torrent marketing books, but what do you put on torrents to bring in traffic?

    I'd be cautious with torrent marketing. Those that are downloading torrents generally aren't looking to purchase anything.

    Like the poster above me said, they're generally looking for movies and songs for free so they won't want to purchase much unless you have some amazing offer for them. I haven't tried it but a lot of people say it's really hard to do perfectly, and to master it. If it's an eBook then it might do quite well if you can make a decent eye catching title.

    what do you mean by under fire traffic? so how would one market an ebook over torrents? place only the intro section on them?
