It's the AdSense TOS that "you can not make any change to the AdSense code". But take a look at the Digg page. At the top, there are the AdSense ad unit. There are 3 blue-font ads - when you do a mouse-over the ads it's becomes black-font. Also there are rectangles around each ads. Also there are no where written that they are Goooooooooogle ads. If you see the source-code of that Digg page, you will see that there are a lot of additions and changes done to the AdSense code - for doing the above effects in the Digg page. Does these violates AdSense TOS ? If not, can anyone do these to his/ her websites ?
DIGG = Millions of visitors = Premium Adsense publisher = Can do with the ads whatever they damn well please
I would think that Digg is a "Premium Adsense Publisher" so they have a different set of rules than the rest of us.
Dig makes hundreds of thousands. Do you think they would risk such a thing? I think not. They're obiously a Premium Advertiser. They get special perks.
Yeah, they're a Premium AdSense Publisher and can really do whatever they want to the ads. DP isn't like that because we share revenue, but if Bubba Shawn ever wanted to stick on his ads, I'm sure he'd be able to do the same thing.
Amazing how the wealthy can pay their way through any obstacles. What a great learning tool for us minions. No matter how hard we work, we are mere ants on the pavement amongst giants just walking around squashing us without ever noticing! Long live the minions! Minions unite!
If true, why doesnt one of us with the help of a few hundred people on this forum make a google like site with all the resources that google provides to make our own resource? Of course Shawn could promote it using his own forum and it could be an ad-revenue sharing site where the creators and makers of the site get the money that they made from the site. Rob
