    USE THE COMPETITIVE AD FILTER

And I'm not talking about the ads blacklist. If you monitor the ads being displayed on your website and research the links, you can find that banning the ads that are being linked to crappy sales promotion pages will help you out more than anything.

I spent the past 5 days monitoring which ads are displayed on my website and researched the links that appeared. I kept all the legitimate ones and banned the scammy looking ones. I've also banned clickbank.net from displaying all the hoplinks. Nearly 75% of my ads were from clickbank. I'm not going to make some jerk rich off of my hard work. The results are wonderful and my CPC is higher than ever.

Good luck, the Competitive Ad Filter is by far the best tool for Adsense. Don't let it sit blank.

All Adsense using webmasters lose out money to MFA sites with the $0.01 type clicks. If you have not already done so, go to http://www.adsblacklist.com/ to see the toplist of such sites and put them in your Competitive Ad Filter. When you make more money from your clicks, do come back here and let others know.

The blacklist hasn't helped me at all. All my ads are targeted to my content and before adding the list and after removing it, I have yet to see any site on the blacklist appear.

Yep, I believe the blacklist allows you to find somed based on keywords and is a good starting point.
I monitor poor clickthru's when possible (generally at beginning of website)- Adlogger has been useful in this. The Google Adsense preview tool has also come in handy. Of course, have to watch out for the 200 limit esp when you have many websites with diff target markets.

I use the preview tool to see what type of ads will be served - can usually spot the dodgy ones - again this depends on the niche/target market as well. I only use it initially to get rid of the MFA type adverts. Too many ads to try and filter them with this tool only.

Yes you can run adlogger and analytics together. Adlogger is not 100% but does tell you what ads people are clicking on and in what channel (uses its own channel system from memory).

Clickbank clicks usually pay very well btw.

And regarding making other people rich - Never count other peoples money.
Besides ,they usually earn a lot less than your normal advertisers . Playing clickbank normally will get you no more than 400$ a day, which is nothing compared to even a small online shop .

It may work for some people, it may not. When I used the ad filter, my CPC went lower, but the number of clicks I got were higher.
