Hello friends, my site come on 4 page of Google, I want to have better page rank or alexa rank for my site. I have heard- Article submission helps in increasing page rank, is it true??????????

 

Im not sure about increasing in pagerank although having new content always helps. Ive heard of people with very little backlinks achieving PR3 just from tons of site content and many inner pages. Article submissions help along your targeted keywords as long as you dont use the same keyword over and over at a high frequency... rotate your keywords if you do article submissions and make variations. Also never focus on only one type of offpage seo method as this doesnt look natural.

 

Now a days articles do not have much weightage for seo as it had in past unless you have high quallity and highly followed article with too many backlinks. If your articles are of high quality and search engine targeted then certainly it will help your site in long run.

Your PageRank depends on the quality of back links that you have and if you submit to quality directories then why wouldn't your pr increase?? All major directories lets you submit a link in your signature or author box. And true it is effective for keywords as well but who says that it building on your keywords is not an effective strategy for building pagerank?
