I read blogs and find them conveniant over websites as most of the content is easy to find. A as for anybody else reading them my stats prove they do like atleast mine :p

Archie: I don't have this trouble so really don't understand your problems. I never lose any rankings and usually gain alot of positions during and after a update(especially major ones :D )

Google makes updates regularly to keep Black hatters jumping and spam down. Again I never lose rankings because of them.

Please don't take the post as a boast but as advice not to chase algo changes.

Well, I think Google's trying; it's just that their efforts aren't quite working. I think one of their problems is the weight given to the number of backlinks - something that is easily manipulated by today's blackhatters and spammers. But they're so committed to the backlink weight (because it was the original foundation of their algo) that they are very, very reluctant to drop it. They don't wish to 'cut and run' from it (pardon the phrase).

But, yeah, they need to keep working on it because often the search results are crap.

not all are lucky as you guys, since the updates begin lots of things happen, even for some they do their part on se's, they still fall, im not saying that all because of G, as you said some coz of using dity tactics, but what happen for those white hat, think it is better to have a statistic for those affected and not, so we can settle this up.

Hm so you have a majical site built in pure html that can combat spam and scraper sites? Its not a question of owning the position its the fact that it is hardly an honest business SEO any more. ALso Google admits there Algos will screw certain innocent sites over in the quest for great results, so in a word no, its not lazyness, One of my sites has pages added everyday ddecent links maybe 4 on a page, no spam, original content however didnt use absolute links, this appears the reason i dropped due to canonical issues. If the Algo was the same as 2 years ago this issue wouldn;t have destroyed my rankings or unlikely to have. As it stands im being fcked cos G is incapable of recognising www. and not and dishing out dup content awards lol.

Granted should have sorted this , but as i was concentrating on building the site I forgot like many others, however any normal un seo person running a site wouldn't have a clue why traffic ceased, therefore in my opinion they should sort that issue plus who wants to contact their host and say redirect on my iis server please to eliminate this.

    So its not purely lazyness

Google won't be killing SEO for a long time, think of it as kiss chase, Google are 'running' and we're chasing lol.

Regardless what Algo the search engines use, it will always be manipulated

I haven't noticed this Google junk thing myself. I know a lot of people talk about crap results these days so it must exist. But I must say for my own sites, the inbound keywords are a lot more relevant than they used to be.
