Hi Webmasters, I have seen last some of days my website keywords ranking fluctuate many time... previous day my website ranking on 1st page but now its on 7th page... ANY one have know is there any Google update recently? Please share here your knowledge and give me solution how can i get back my ranking....
Probably some testing or update, they are doing this couple of times a day. All you can do is ensure your site getting indexed more often..
On February 27th, 2012, Google has announced update 3.3 of Panda tweaks to its search algorithms. The changes concern 40 updates to improve the quality of Google search results. Updates concern results freshness, link evaluation, relevant media results, language improvements, location-aware results, plus many more.
I've noticed a shift as well just a day ago or so. The home page got doped a from the 1st page to the 2nd but the blog took it's place Any thoughts on this?
I've noticed similar complaints on the google help forum... But the official update was quite some time ago...did it take so long to finnaly catch up? Noticed on more thing...There was a big jump in the number of pages that google indexed from my regular 24 to 56 most URLs don't exist and it's hard to imagine how they even appeared since they are not in the site map or any where on the site for that matter they just automatically redirect to the home page but some have different titles in the index. things like auction/index.html games/smgot.html /a perhaps something changed in the crawler?
Google still uses the PageRank algorithm for most of its ranking system. Stanford University was awaded full rights to the PageRank patent and google has being using the unchanged algorithm since it's creation in 1997. Google is the only company to obtain a license to use the technology, which they bought for about $300 million. However, they have integrated a system called Panda that was released in February 2011. This algorithm focuses primarily on content of a webpage. CNET reported a surge in the rankings of new websites and social marketing websites and a drop in rankings for websites containing large amounts of advertising. This change reportedly affected the rankings of almost 12 percent of all search results.
I too have noticed a large number of ranking changes over the last week so will be interested to see how this update (if thats what it is) pans out.
