I love the site design and everything. I bought a radio control airplane for my son one time, he only flew it one time, could not figure out how to make that thing come back.
Yeah, that's quite nice and clean design. Maybe shayrc_header_16.jpg doesn't fit a little (very very little to the rest (but a little tweaks with pallete should help). Overall it's ok.

Yes, that could be a significant problem. The best thing is to find a good instructor. I like to learn to drive. Flying an rc model (airplane or helicopter) can be a very dangerous thing if you are not qualified for this.
I like the site alot mate. I used to be heaps into electric rc cars as a kid. Remember having a HPI RS4 tourer and a little Tamiya mini cooper which had installed a high turn team orion motor. It was that light the car would nearly launch being a front wheel drive, haha. I popped into a hobby shop just recently and was suprised to see they are still selling the offroad grasshopers.
I think your site looks awesome! Love the shiny looking header and overall design. If it was my site I would probably want to increase the width of the whole layout and have less of the grey background either side. The only reason for this is because you can fit more content higher up without users having to scroll. And it is proven that most people won't bother scrolling down to look! Also, on the 'photo gallery' page I thought the adsense ads at the top were too big, they are very in your face, I would decrease them to 468x60 ones. And you may want to add a bit more content to your 'search' page as it only has the search box and it is a main page on your site. Just thinking for search engine reasons. Only needs a short description below the box. Otherwise I think your site is quality! Hope this feedback helps. Regards.
Thank you all for your commets. I agree about the page width and I will change it in the near future. As for Googl AdSense, I will check the option to use the 468x60. And overall, you all welcome to join us at ShayRC. I can use some help with the ShayRC forum.
