Ranking is good, but can't get traffic on my website :(

I cant get traffic on my website, although my ranking,indexing is good

don't take any tension because if your site have good ranking then your site will get traffic.It is basically depend on your optimization technique.

 

Maybe the content of your website is not interesting or useless

 

Just curious what is your ranking and how many impressions does that keyword get? That might be a factor, you can sometimes rank first page on google for some keywords but only get a few hundred impressions a day. Perhaps add more content and target additional keywords... Bottom line research your keywords to make sure their worth investing your efforts into.

 

Check the exact searches of the keyword. If the keyword don't have much searches then you won't get much traffic. Other than that try different title tags and description to increase CTR from search engines.

 

if you rank for low search volume keywords, then even #1 ranking might not get yo any or much traffic. all depends on where you rank and how many exact searches for your search term is.

 

According to me there are many way to increase traffic. Here i define some effective methods to get good traffic to your sites. They are define as below.
1) Update your site content regularly 2) Site design and layout are really very attractive to other website 3) Optimize for search engine 4) Guest blogging 5) Conversion on social media 6) Your site content are seo friendly 7) Participate in social sharing communities like stubleupon 8) Interact on other blog comment 9) Do forum posting 10) Do blog commenting.

 

I think you should work more on forum posting and blog commenting for increase visitor to your site,apart of forum posting and blog commenting you should do regular directory submission,Article submission,Social bookmarking etc to maintain ranking of your site.

If your site ranking is good but you are not getting traffic then you should go for SMO(social media optimization) through social networking sites like facebook, twitter, google+ etc.Today SMO is very popular for getting more traffic to site.SMO will be usefull for providing more traffic to your site.

 

You have to do more off page seo for it.

 

Use the highly Traffic keywords and Do the daily Off page techniques.

 

It depends on the keywords your site ranks well. If they are low competitive, you should try to rank for "bigger" ones. Maybe a quick keyword research would be great

you will have to do some seo or check but some links, but you definitely need more link juice to get the site ranking up

i think your website content should not a good and you should need to work on social media sites to getting more traffic for your websites.because i have own site which has a good page rank and i am doing work on social media site and my website getting good traffic from it.

 

Moral of the story? Thoroughly research your keywords before you decide to target them- if they don't get searched, they are useless.
