You are targeting the wrong keywords, don't have a developed site, not enough content, or you aren't taking all of the proper steps in ranking your site. To generate traffic its not an easy task. try to work on social networking site and high pr bookmarking site. using sharing options for every submissions.

 

I suggest you to do blog post regularly with fresh unique content, which attract many more people to your blog and also you will get better traffic.

 

U American are really different from Chinese, if i ask a question in Chinese forum, no one would answer it so soon, I tried forum marketing, it's too hard to register, active, sign in, post, add signnature, add link, and be banned 10 mins later, in Chinese forum, u can post any link as you wish. in USA forum, it's too hard. btw, my site is an English site. cos 1 USD = 6.3 RMB. And the house here cost more than 300,000 USD, I think life in US could be easier?

 

If you have optimized your website in good way and promoting it well, its not very difficult to get traffic. But do not expect wonders out of new website... Since every website takes its time to establish.

This is the 2nd hardest thing when you want to make the perfect website. The most difficult part is to make your website convert easy.. To get traffic, you should "offer" something interesting and try to promote in on Facebook, Twitter, Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit, etc.

 

my site starts from 2008, once it gets to 500 IP/day, now because i redesigned my site from asp to php, the html file links had been changed, now it's 180 IP/day, I post about 50 links on my facebook friends' wall, got only 5 IP? and I do set up 20 blogs post articles and add links to my site for SEO, this didn't help me much. even i sit here do nothing can still get my salary, but i did so much get 0.5 USD on the site?
