Because of its high pr the one you're marketing can be easily acknowledge. Every info you need to know about the things you want to have can be easily found.

 

I would think Twitter would be a good way to direct visitors to your site or blog with tweets related to your site content, this is something I dabbled in with my tattoo blog but I haven't put too much effort into it yet...

 

I would also add that today Twitter has also become the platform for social action as well

 

To establish good interaction with friends and relatives online and it can also be an emotional outlet.

 

What if a person doesn't have either a large family or many friends?

Although Twitter is PR9, you dont have quality backlink as it is no follow. But you can maintain a good fan base for your site from it.
