My directory is down because of my host

Hi all,

My directory is down for 7 days cuz of my host, they suspended my account cuz of wrz linking inactive blog without notice (they were allowing that when i got host from them), i told them that i will deleted the wrz related website from the account permanently but they did`t replay back for 4 days.

I asked for account backup in another ticket to run the directory until this account issue fixed but they also did`t replay, i don`t have a database back on my pc, just in the hosting account, what should i do?

How the hell did you choose such a host? A host deleting an account for hosting inactive blogs???!! Lol, I feel like laughing off my ground!

It has great rep here and WHT. Been with them for 2 years and half, dunno what the fck is going on.

 

if they got any contact number call them, if not then i guess wait. btw would you mind sharing the webhosting company you are with.
best bet is to open a thread in WHT hosting section with the company name and explain what just happened.

Hopefully waiting for my backups, i`m moving out to new host.

 

Two things:
1. Webmasters should always make their own backups at the minimum of once a week!!!!!!!!!
2. Get your files and database when they let you, and then move to another host!!!!!

 

Honestly, wth does this have to do with directories? You violated your web hosts TOS and now you come here to bitch about it? Go to WHT where all everyone does is bitch about their host.

 

Got the backup and moved to another host, the directory is back and running now.

Backup is most needed thing in this Digital life. Only One second needed to destroy your entire life's work.

 

Yep that is so true and still its a hard thing to get used to. So many hosts loose customers to not answering back appropriately. We understand that you go down from time to time but leaving us in the dark only make matters worse - but this problem is across the board (or at least with all the web hosts I have worked with)

 

Yeah, move to other web host. Get virtual hosting or dedicated.

Sorry to see this happened to you. But its a reminder to everybody that how important it is to make and keep backups of your website files and database.
