I use W3 Total Cache, Wordpress SEO by Yoast, My Videotag and Breadcrumbs NavXT . All reliable and a need for most blogs.
What about the free theme. I try to google the free gallery theme and most I download it can not upload because it was mentioned as missing code or css.. Can you you recommend me what is the site for free download.
Akismet is great but if you don't use NoSpamNX, you will still have to clean up hundreds of robot spams daily.

For 2 and 3, you can use Wordpress SEO plugin by Yoast as those would setup both SEO options and you an enable Sitemaps with autoping to all major search engines from it. For promoting your blog, you can use WP to Twitter and Add to Facebook plugins. Rest you would need to work on SEO and viral promotion (if applicable) for increasing traffic in the long run. As for a FREE gallery theme, there are quite a few good ones in the wordpress repository.
