see fi you can ADD more bit rate, and light to no compression. if it looks bad try agian with more compression with same bit rate.

might have to experiment, cause i know more bit rate means bigger size but less compression need, vs more compression small size and less bit rate needed but the slower it will process. and if done on a superfast computer, those with really slower computers will have a laggy video or stiff vid cause their cpu cant decompress on time

I think you can convert this file in Sony Vegas. I'm pretty sure you an do this and have a better quality if you save the file in a higher quality. I converted HD videos from .avi to wmv.. It's not a cheap program though.

For sloving all the video converting problems.i think an All In One video converter will be the best choice.
And This HD video converter is quite good for days' using.

If you try Handbrake you can get a preview of the image quality before you do the full transcoding and you can change it so that you can get as close to lossless quality as possible.

Wow, I was looking for exactly this piece of software to help me figure out my oly form, thanks for sharing.

For most quick video format conversions I turn to "MTS Converter for Mac" (http://www.mtsconverterfree.com/). It handles most of the stuff I want to do when I don't want to get into the details of demuxing and encoding.
