    I have been trying to get my parents to stop paying for a landline. They still like it for calling family and such.

    I still have one but I usually use it when I call for deliveries. It's not really as useful as it was before because most people I know of just rely on mobile phones a lot of them do not have landlines anymore except for little old folks that I know of.

    Not really. Texting for me is very convenient and much affordable. But i still prefer hearing someone's voice though. :)

    Yes I still have landline phone because my all friend have landline phone because it is very easy to handle, it don't to recharge so the people can talk carelessly.

    Yes I use, and using it for many many years.

    It's useful for address proof in India (IMO only MTNL or BSNL are good for it)

    we should use it. landline is the old one, but it's not so harmful for you
