I would like to know how do you guys build link. Do you guys hire Seo company for your link building or searches forums for best link building deals.

SEo company charges between 300 to 1000 depending on your keyword.
Recently I have been doing link building my self and looking for best deals in forums for link building.

Share your opinions, ideas that can be good link building Strategy that can be in budget.

I am not looking to hire someone. Just asking to share your Strategy with us that has worked for you.

 

Well it isn't a big secret, all what you need just read the forum. You can create free links from - social bookmarks, forum profiles, forum signatures, blog comments and etc.. But if you've got high competition in your niche then you need some quality links from quality sites and it cost some money. Sometimes better to hire professional then do it yourself it won't be cheaper, but it gonna be faster and more safe.

 

There are many ways of building links. You can employ a link building company but you can also buy links directly from website owners.


Forums : The most common link building techniques using forums are to create a profile page and a signature link. Signature links allow links to be created at the bottom of posts or comments you leave in a forum.


Link farms : These are uded by many link building companies. A link farm can often have a vast number of websites and web pages within it, all under the control of the link building company. By building a link farm link building companies are able to offer a set number of links for a set fee as they have plenty of web real estate on which to build the links.


Directories: These are useful and can create links carrying some value in the sense of attracting traffic to your website. There are some notable directories such as the DMOZ directory and Yahoo.


Hubs: These are pages created on services such as Squidoo. This particular service are a great idea and allow people to create pages about something they care about.


Blogs : Often referred to as SPLOGS (spam blogs) blogs are a favourite haunt of link spammers. They seek out blogs in the hope of leaving a comment and associated link to their client's website.


Social bookmarks: people are using social book marking sites such as: digg, reddit etc to find the information so submit your link to these sites and try to get generate maximum votes. In their early days social bookmarking sites may have been a source of valuable links however the link spammers have put an end to that. Most of the credible bookmarking sites (Digg, Sphinn etc) recognised their platforms were being abused by link spammers and as a result they nofollow links to deter them.

 

Does this mean linking TO Digg is not considered off page optimization? Or links ON Digg will do nothing for OPO? I'd appreciate your input

 

just go and build some web 2.0 sites, post to high pr article directories and throw in some document sharing sites.. that's all you need

 

yea, when its nofollow search engines will not follow nor consider that page linking to your website

 

The main way that I build backlinks through social media websites is through a small little program called onlywire. I also build a lot of my back links through blog comments that are commentluv enabled and through forum signatures...

 

I do it on my own to assure the quality...

 

For link building for my sites i go for manually , i do forum posting, blog commenting, social bookmarking and directory submission for building links for my sites.

 

Sure! these are the principal tasks of link building..........also should have to adopt some other strategies like profile links, Hub pages, article submissions etc. I think its enough to got good results from link building task.

You don't need to hire any company or persons to do SEO for your 5- 10 sites.
But if you have more sites then you need somebody to help you in this field. You should do it yourself for future experience. Make some link wheels. And enjoy SEO and Link Building. Good Luck.

 

Approximately how long would y'all expect a good link building campaign would take to get a website from alexa ranking 250,000 to 100,000? Or does linkbuilding primarily effect Pagerank?
