Adsense in new window

Hello,

i have a site where i have set a few links to open in new pages using target"_blank".

For example, i have embeded youtube code in them, in order to display some videos. Is it ok if i use adsense code in them or do they fall in the category of pop ups?

I believe i can do it, but i would like to know if it is ok with google first

 

To make the Adsense ad open in another window you would need to modify the code by adding the target blank. That is modifying the code. That is against TOS. Do it at your own peril.

What i meant, is that i have set a few normal site links to open in new window not adsense link.

My mistake, in they way i wrote the question could easily be missunderstood as "adsense" links.

Oh, okay. I thought you wanted the ad to open in a new window when someone clicked on it. If you just want a page to open that happens to have adsense ad in them, that should be fine.

 

No problem with that yes, You can open as many pages you want with adsense ads, all you can't do is open ads in a new page.

Beware that popups are not allowed though.

you can not open adsense in new window or you can not modify adsense code. both of the against the tos

 

If you're unsure, just try and check it with Google, themselves.
